Dr. Macdonald, having participated in clinical trials with snoring device manufacturers, is passionate about keeping up with the newest options for snoring relief. Dr. Macdonald knows that a complete cure is still elusive for most snoring sufferers. Dr. Macdonald is considered a pioneer of minor surgical procedures for snoring relief since and given his depth of experience in administering the Pillar® Procedure with high success rates, he has been asked to teach specialists in the USA and Canada to perform this procedure since 2005.
As an ear, nose & throat (ENT) specialist, Dr. Macdonald has had highly-focused training in the following areas resolving both nasal and oral airway issues, remedying a wide range of nasal conditions negatively impacting breathing and/or smell, and reconstructing the nose from the inside out, to ensure optimum form and function.

Our San Francisco office is located in the center of downtown San Francisco – Union Square.
Traveling from the North Bay, cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. Follow Lombard St through the Marina District. Turn right onto Van Ness Ave. Turn left onto Bush St. Turn right onto Powell St. Take the 1st right onto Sutter St. Our office is at 500 Sutter St, on the 4th floor, Suite 430.
Traveling from the East Bay, cross the Bay Bridge into San Francisco. Take exit 2C for Fremont St. Turn left onto Fremont St. Take the 3rd left onto Mission St. Turn right onto 3rd St. Continue onto Kearny St. Turn left onto Sutter St. Cross over Powell St. Our office is at 500 Sutter St, on the 4th floor, Suite 430.
Traveling from the South Bay, take Hwy 101 to 80 (toward Bay Bridge). Follow signs for Golden Gate Bridge/Ninth St/Civic Center. Take exit 434A to US-101 N/Mission St toward Golden Gate Bridge. Turn left onto S Van Ness Ave. Turn right onto Bush St. Turn right onto Powell St. Take the 1st right onto Sutter St. Our office is at 500 Sutter St, on the 4th floor, Suite 430.
Traveling by BART, take BART to the Powell St Station. Exit the station up the stairs toward Powell St. Walk 5 blocks up Powell St, and make a left onto Sutter St. Our office is at 500 Sutter St, on the 4th floor, Suite 430.
Parking is available at 450 Sutter Garage (1/2 block away), Sutter Stockton Garage (1 block away), or Union Square Garage (1 block away).
